Ok. In "shortly after entering the museum, the mummy caught Kim's attention", the subject is unclear. It is unclear whether the mummy or Kim entered the museum (although it can be implied that Kim entered the museum).

In the other two sentences, it is known that Kim entered the museum since her actions are directly being modified. So I am in agreement with @ILovePuppiesLol
