It changed a whole lot, not just because time was evolving, but it was really depending on who wrote it and what kinda music it was. 2. 1940s = Upbeat 1950s = Not as upbeat but it actually had lyrics 1960s = Rock 1970s = soft rock 1980s = Pop type music 1990s = A bit of everything 3. 1940s = Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller 1950s = Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis 1960s = The Beatles, bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who 1970s = Elton John, John Lennon 1980s = Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Whitney Houston 1990s = Mariah Carey, TLC, Backstreet boys, Celine Dion, 4.
