1. It changed a whole lot, not just because time was evolving, but it was really depending on who wrote it and what kinda music it was.

1950s = Not as upbeat but it actually had lyrics
1960s = Rock
1970s = soft rock
1980s = Pop type music
1990s = A bit of everything
