Help with Solving Exponential Functions

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

\[e ^{x ^{2}} =e ^{3x}\times \frac{ 1 }{ e ^{2} }\] I got (-1,2) But the answer is (1,2) Why is that @freckles @Nnesha

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

that is because you have the following x^2 = 3x -2

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Exactly that's what i have

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

x^2-3x+2 = 0 (x-2)(x-1) = 0

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

then x = 2 and x = 1

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

O_o I AM SOO DONE!!!!!! I forgot about the + -_-

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

is late :)

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Ugh simplest mistakes mean your points LOL Thanks for helping :D

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

you're welcome :)
