What are radio waves? Wikipedia says they are electromagnetic waves from 3 THz to as low as 3 kHz. Radar waves are in that range. Radio telescopes examine electromagnetic waves in that range. Broadcast television and radio communication signals are in that range. GPS also use signals in that range. I encourage you to do a search on "devices that use radio waves" in Bing or Google to find more.
