help please...!!!!!!!
Read the text below from the Article IV of the U.S. Constitution: Amendment IV – Search and Seizure The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. How does a system of warrants based on probable cause protect the rule of law? It prevents government officials from making unnecessary mistakes in an investigation. It provides government officials with the tools to safely enter a citizen's home. It protects citizens from being required to participate in police investigations. It protects citizens from government officials acting on personal bias or for personal gain.
what do you think
c? im not really sure...
we can rule out C, it doesnt make sense, we can rule out A since warrants don't really prevent mistakes
A warrant is like permission for them to search a house, so they just don't randomly charge in
d?
correct
do u know what personal bias is?
yay next!! :)
so basically if i don't like this guy, and I'm a police, i can search his house randomly
so thats not allowed since u need a warrant
oh cool!
