PLEASE HELP ME AND SHOW WORK!!!!!!! Which polynomial has 3x + 4 as a factor? Question options: 9 x squared plus 3 x minus 12 12 x squared plus 7 x minus 8 9 x squared minus 3 x minus 8 12 x squared minus 2 x minus 20
what choice can you dividing without remainder by 3x+4 so this will be the right answer
I dont know
9 x squared plus 3 x minus 12 9x^2 +3x -12/3x+4 = 3x -3 9x^2 +12x ----------- 0 -9x -12 -9x -12 --------- 12 x squared plus 7 x minus 8 0 0 bc. here how you see the remainder is zero so this mean that this choice will be the right answer - ok. ? 9 x squared plus 3 x minus 12 12 x squared plus 7 x minus 8 9 x squared minus 3 x minus 8 12 x squared minus 2 x minus 20 9 x squared minus 3 x minus 8 12 x squared minus 2 x minus 20
do you understand it now how we have got it ?
Yeah a little, So how 9 x squared plus 3 x minus 12 the answer? if it all = to zeros ? that the part the confused me a little
bc how you see above i divided the 9x^2 +3x -12 by 3x+4 and i got without remainder 3x -3 so this mean that (3x+4)(3x-3) = 9x^2 +3x -12
oh okay i understand that now, thank you :)
np was my pleasure and anytime good luck bye bye
