i was just thinking, maybe openstudy could have a search bar for questions. That would help os users that can't get a question answered because they could search for past questions that are the same. I was just thinking that might be nice.

Been suggested many times before. The best we can do for now is use google custom search.

OpenStudy's iOS app has a very nice search feature https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/openstudy/id844216430?mt=8 for the time being you can do google searches like site:openstudy.com "question you want" this should get pretty close to what you want jaynator made something a while ago...
