OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

would the third angle be 32?

OpenStudy (sshayer):

correct.

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

how would i know the opposite and hypotenuse ?

OpenStudy (sshayer):

|dw:1464141467005:dw|

OpenStudy (sshayer):

A,B,C are angles. a,b,c are sides of triangle.

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

but i only know one side...

OpenStudy (sshayer):

\[\frac{ 120 }{ \sin 32 }=\frac{ x }{ \sin 53 }\]

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

would i do the following : (120)(sin 53) and (x)(sin32)

OpenStudy (sshayer):

find x

OpenStudy (sshayer):

you have to take angle opposite to side.

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

would it be 180?

OpenStudy (sshayer):

\[x=120*\frac{ \sin 53 }{ \sin 32 }=120 \times \frac{ 0.80 }{ 0.53 }=181\] it is nearly 181

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

thank you @sshayer

OpenStudy (sshayer):

yw

OpenStudy (sshayer):

as you know third angle ,you can also find third side .
