I know the answer i just need someone to explain the steps on how to get that answer

OpenStudy (pflori1234_pop):

Simplify the expression... -9x^2 -2(13x^2 +2x) -(-6x-7)

OpenStudy (pflori1234_pop):

The answer is:-35x^2 +2x+7

OpenStudy (pflori1234_pop):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (marcelv):

Distribute first, \[-9x^2-26x^2-4x+6x+7\] then the idea is to combine like terms that means we can combine the terms that have x^2 -9x^2-26x^2 give us -35x^2, -4x+6x give us 2x, so we get \[-35x^2+2x+7 \]

OpenStudy (pflori1234_pop):

thank you @MarcelV

OpenStudy (pflori1234_pop):
