Another question...
9(2x -5)=-6(5x-4)
the answer is x= 23/16.... i need help with the steps tho @AloneS
Lol i got the same answer okay let me try to explain it ;)
ok thanks...
i keep getting 21/48... idk what I'm doing wrong
At first you have to simplify both sides of the equation. 9(2x−5)=−6(5x−4) (9)(2x)+(9)(−5)=(−6)(5x)+(−6)(−4) 18x + − 45 = −30x + 24 18x − 45 = − 30x + 24
oh wait thats what I'm doing wrong... how did you get a positive 24
than add 30x to both sides 18x−45+30x=−30x+24+30x 48x−45=24 Okay again lol add 45 to both sides 48x−45+45=24+45 48x=69 But that's not all
Finally at last divide both sides by 48. \[ \frac{ 48x }{ 48 } =\frac{ 69 }{ 48 }\] \[ x =\frac{ 23 }{ 16 }\]
omg thank you so much.... that makes so much more sense now!
Oh lol made my brain move too, My pleasure ;)
are u good with inequalities?
