The first strings of holiday lights were manufactured as series circuits. Which explains why this method is no longer used? A. In order for a series circuit to remain closed, enabling electrons to flow, all lights must work. B. In a series circuit, if all lights work the circuit remains open, but if one burns, it closes the circuit. C. Series circuits require more wire to keep electrons flowing between lightbulbs. D. Lightbulb manufacturers stopped making lightbulbs that could be wired in series.

jabez177 (jabez177):

@mayankdevnani

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

option A

jabez177 (jabez177):

ohh yeah! in option B it says it's open and a series circuit is always closed i made a mistake there :p

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

close the circuit means charge is flowing between them open the circuit means no flow of charge In other words, closed circuit means SWITCH ON open circuit means SWITCH OFF

jabez177 (jabez177):

haan i read too fast :p

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):
