My suspension lasted for 5 days and I’m back. Reason: I made alternate accounts and gave my main(samsungfanboy) testimonials. But if mods look at that, the first thing that would go through their mind “he fanned himself and gave himself testimonials JUST to increase his smart score”. I apologize but that is not the reason why. Long story short, me and another user were seeing who can make the most alternate accounts just for fun. Obviously I won. I made a lot too so I wanted to fan myself just to keep track of them before I noted them down waiting for the user to come back so I can brag about how I have way more than you. That ended and then 2 months later another user was shocked on how many testimonials I had. How many fans I had as well. No joke, he got pretty jealous about it too. He’s reading this post right now and knows exactly who he is. I told Carina(WhiteMonsterBunny17) about my alts and she didn’t have a problem with it. As long as I didn’t medal spam myself, I would be fine. I didn’t know it was against the rules to give yourself testimonials from alternate account. It’s weird because in the chat another moderator Jigglypuff knew about my alts and questioned why I had so many. So if she knew I had many, why didn’t she atleast talk to me about it or warned me. There was nothing but silence and then a suspension with no word. This user has a great relation with a mod so obviously he snitched and told on me. Mod didn’t say anything to me. Its not like you spammed the chat and knew you were get suspended the next minute. This was a unexpected quiet suspension behind closed curtains. I was also IP banned. I don’t get it… this just isn’t right. I was suspended without any type of warning. You could have told me about this with a warning and I would have legitimately got on my alternate accounts and delete those testimonials and unfan this main account just to make things right and there wouldn’t be any problems. But if you didn’t know, when this user got to 99, I noticed that he medal spammed himself from his alternate account and also fanned himself and gave himself a testimonial. This user got absolutely no warning or suspension. How can this possible be right?

I think they should have warned you about it first, since you say they were fine with it before? In my opinion they should have talked to you and gave a heads up to take those fans and testis down. Instead of suspending you right then and there.

there now seems to be an automatic IP ban for when an account gets banned (so they can't make new alts) - these IP bans are not really done on purpose

The overwhelming first response of everyone being banned for something = 'but someone else did the same thing and didn't get punished'

although, yes, you probably should have been warned to delete all those testimonials instead of being banned >.>


also... making massive amounts of alts for the sake of alts is not technically allowed... somewhere in the Terms says no alts at all - but we made exceptions because there was no other way to let people change usernames. but please don't go doing alt making competitions again ^_^"

This is seriously getting out of control. I get the feeling that now-days mods decisions are being influenced by users. In other words, "mods pet". There is so much hate between one another that people will do anything and everything to see that person get suspended or banned from this site. This should be looked down upon. People are getting into Mod's ears and providing false information. I know from experience. Me and whoever else has gone through all of this knows how difficult and how frustrating. I try to look at the bright side of all of this, but its hard when people keep bringing back the past. No one is perfect, we will all make mistakes, some bigger then others. When we fall in those mistakes, we need to correct them and learn from them. Many people are leaving this site because of people's hatred and frustration. From what people have told me, there is so much hate and its not between 2 or 3 people. It between many. With this being said, I am deciding whether to stay on this site or to leave.

Qwerty, to be honest with you, everything that has happened is annoying. Yes, I do realize I cant do anything about it, but thats why all of this is unbearable. Everyone here is being picked on by people and there is nothing being done. I feel that the users who are purposely breaking the rules are not being punished, and other people are being punished. @SamsungFanBoy has experienced it, I have experienced it. Many people have and its gotten to the point where you dont know what to do. A user has been trying to fight with me in the chats since January. Around April this user made a fake report on me that was viewed by many people. Many mods were there to see how he lied to everyone and how he would treat everyone with no respect and would fight everyone. At the end of the day, he didnt receive any punishment. Till this day, same things is happening.

The person who has good relations with the mods has a lot of alts, as well as a few other people that I have noticed. I've seen that person + the other 2 people in the chats with literally all their alts while mods were present (talked to mods as well) and the mods didn't care at all. Tbh, this is completely biased in my opinion. If they like the user, they let things like this slip. If they don't, they decide to take action. People will probably go against what I'm saying, but this is from personal experience and has happened a lot.

we're talking about 'someone has used their alts to cheat the system' - particularly that Samsung had given himself testimonials with his alts.

alts aren't the problem, having less causes less problems in the long run but we don't completely condone having alts (otherwise we'd all be gone). it was that people had used their alts to cheat the system. the situation you described is simply someone playing with their multiple alts in front of mods... this is ok .-.

There could be a limit of 4 (say there's a household with 4 children that use OS for studying). That way there would be a stop to the spamming issue. Don't know if it's doable, but just a suggestion for a future update.

Honestly. Some mods aren't fair on this site. I REPEAT I SAID SOME. They know that so many people make alts FOR FUN. Why the heck did ban a user for no fudging reason. You don't ban those users but you ban him. Most of users, including myself (might as well be honest right? I got on that alt to cuss out a user on this site because boy was she angering me, you can go ahead and delete that alt cause I DON'T CARE ABOUT MY SS :) it's RyanMcCarter (I think) I can't remember I rarely get on here nowadays), have alts here. As a mod, your job is to warn people about stuff and run this site at its best ability not ban people for no reason. So, the user himself wasn't at fault WHATSOEVER. He always followed rules at all times never really cussed out another user on this site. AND may I add on? The CoC NEVER even said a word about users having alternative accounts. A bit overboard? Ik @Mehek14 which is why they either have to find better people or might as well give up their position. It's not fair for other users. For instance I once got banned for fighting back against the other user and they didn't ban that user. I honestly didn't care but sure it did hurt a bit.
