alones (alones):

Which of the following equations is the result of completing the square on \(^{2} \) - 6x - 9 = 0 (x - 3)\(^{2} \) = 0 (x - 3)\(^{2} \) = 9 (x - 3)\(^{2} \) = 18

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

from the first term missed the x ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

bc. than you know that (x-3)^2 = x^2 -6x +9 and there is given x^2 -6x -9 = 0 so how you think that will be necessary adding to both sides for get in place of -9 the necessary +9 ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok. ? do you understand it now ?
