D. there are no restrictions on the values of a.

OpenStudy (narissa):

@Mehek14

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Remember we can't divide by zero ;]

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

What's your answer btw ?

OpenStudy (narissa):

I think its D. But im not good at math so i am not sure.

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Well when we have a fraction, we got to make sure the denominator is not equal to zero ie. here a+4 ≠ 0

OpenStudy (narissa):

How do we make sure it doesn't equal zero?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

We put restrictions on variables

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

We put the denominator equal to zero and we solve. Like here we solve a+4=0

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

@narissa are you here ?

OpenStudy (sshayer):

\[a+4\neq 0,a \neq?\]
