I don't know if it is a vertical/horizontal compression/stretch!

Should this one be reflect y axis since the negative sign is inside the parenthesis?
y= -2x^2
I think this one is reflect x axis..?

The second is reflected across the x-axis yes and the first isnt reflected

Because if you have -3sqrt2 you multiply -3 by -3 giving a positive
