How would you expect a bacterium near the end of binary fission to look? It would be pinched inward at the middle as it forms two new cells. It would join another bacterium through a thin, threadlike bridge. It would be bulging out in the middle as it doubles its cytoplasm. It would form a small, rounded, thick-walled resting cell inside. @gottennis121 @ILovePuppiesLol @helpkay
