OpenStudy (mathmate):

Correct! Well done!

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

You sure? Thank you!

OpenStudy (jsmit200):

I believe you are correct

OpenStudy (mathmate):

As sure as you can see me in front of you! :)

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

Can you check this one too? I forget; are you supposed to calculate discounts to the total or to the individual pair of jeans?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

For this, you apply the discount, and add tax on the selling price (i.e. after the discount).

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Apply the discount to the total. They didn't say "discount for first pair only"!

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

So the original price for the 3 pairs of jeans would've been $79.47. Do you multiply that number by .75 to figure out what it actually costs?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Yes, exactly.

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

Okay! So then the answer is...

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

$62.43?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

exactly! well done again! :)

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

Yay! Thanks for all the help. It's refreshing to actually get help on this website, usually my questions end up ignored. :)

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

I will tag you if I need help again. Cya until then! :)
