ANOTHER LIBERAL ARTS QUESTION

OpenStudy (danielaishawt1997):

simplify\[\frac{ a^{-2}b^4}{ c^{-3} }\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

haha.. i think all you need to do is rewrite the expression to convert negative to positive exponents\[x\rm ^{-m}= \frac{1}{x^m}\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

if the negative exponent is at the numerator move that to the denominator just like the example ^^ \[\large\rm \frac{ 1 }{ x^{-n} } = \frac{x^n}{1} =x^n\]

OpenStudy (danielaishawt1997):

\[\frac{ c^3b^4 }{ a^2 }\] is this correct? @Nnesha

OpenStudy (danielaishawt1997):

did you die? @Nnesha

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes that's correct, and no unfortunately i'm alive..
