A parallelogram whose vertices have coordinates R(1, -1), S(6, 1), T(8, 5), and U(3, 3) has a shorter diagonal of ___ . Just need a check i think sqrt13 5 √(13) √(97)

one moment. I'm using geogebra to check

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

http://prntscr.com/b9bwez the green segment f is the shorter diagonal f = 3.61 approx f^2 = 13.0321 approx turns out that f^2 is exactly equal to 13 if there's no rounding error so f = sqrt(13) exactly which means you have the correct answer. Nice job

thxs
