what figure is this ,do you know it please ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
Its a rhombus
OpenStudy (welshfella):
Do you know the property of the diagonals of a rhombus?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
why you think it same ?

welsh you asked me ? sorry
OpenStudy (welshfella):
No I was asking Chayanne
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
ok. yes this is an importantly qustion
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
question
OpenStudy (welshfella):
I'l let you have this one jhonny

chayanne do you know what asked welsh ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
Is it that opposite sides are congruent
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
welsh asked what angle form the diagonales of a rhombus ? or the properties of diagonales of a rhombus
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
do you know thet ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
no, sorry

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
so are perpendicularly and halfed - ok. ?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
so what mean that are perpendiculare ,what angle make with how many degree ?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
two lines perpendiculare what angles create ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
180
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
no

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
180 degree has a line
OpenStudy (chayanne):
90
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
yes exactly
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
so than you know that made angles with 90 degree so this mean that 3x=90
yes ? now from this x = ?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
check please your posted image

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
so 3x=90 is true ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
yes because its 90 degree into the angle the rhombus makes
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
so than 3x=90
x = ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
x = 30
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
yes nice
so now you know that the x has a value equal 30
so than the lateral angle of 2x will be equal by how many ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
just substitute the 30 in place of x
OpenStudy (chayanne):
Then it would be 60
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
yes sure this is easy - yes ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
Yes, Thank you again
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
moment there is again angle y

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
hope you know it sure that the sum of angles of a triangle equal how many degree ?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
courage please this is easy
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
yes exactly - do you see it that you know - please be more courageosly
OpenStudy (chayanne):
With the angle we know, do we combine the angles we know and then subtract that amount from each side?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
from 180

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
sorry i dont understand you from what we subtract
but yes we combine ,we assume these angles value what we know so the central angle of 3x has a measure of 90 degree
and the lateral angle has 60 degree
yes exactly we subtract this sum from 180
do you see it now that is easy ?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
so please calculi it
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
how many is the sum of 90 and 60 ?
OpenStudy (chayanne):
So is the final answer for y =30
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
yes right,correct
so do you understand it now clearly sure ?
