I'm writing my essay about Calling Vs. Texting
My intro. v
I am comparing Calling and Texting. Calling and Texting are two ways of communicating to others. When you call someone, you get to hear their expression. When you text someone, they can take their time to answer you and have time to think.
@Mehek14, I messed up writing my first paragraph. I wrote a whole one and I realized I didn't do it the right way. I'm gonna write another one, give me about 20-25 mins. :)
You haven't yet explained why you are discussing your topic in your intro paragraph.

Calling versus Texting. Calling is a way of communication that requires talking, and texting is another form of communication that requires writing and sending messages electronically. You can use a telephone to call anyone at anytime. You can recognize the voice of the people that you know. You can make urgent phone calls and reach a person immediately anywhere. Telephone calls could be made local or long distant. To call someone and talk to them just requires your mouth and willingness to talk. You can text anyone, anywhere, at anytime if you have the same app. You can recognize the number if it is somebody you know. If it’s urgent, you can text back right away or you can wait for a better time. Texting requires your mind, eyes, and hands. Texting is cheaper than calling. The battery lasts longer when you text, compared to when you are talking on the phone. Calling is convenient when it’s urgent, but if it is just a message, than Texting is convenient also. If the person is busy and cannot take the call, then texting is better. While driving, you can use a bluetooth or speaker for calling but you cannot drive and text at the same time without compromising safety. Both are communicative tools of today’s time. Both are equally effective in that sense, but texting requires a greater amount of care and energy. There are laws that regulate the consequences of texting while driving, and they are getting more strict every day. For all the safety reasons, people should not drive and text at the same time because it could cause accidents and lives.
How's that? :)
