"They don't say anything so it's ok" isn't really a good philosophy to live by. If you're speeding past a cop that has someone pulled over, they're not going to say anything about it, but it's still not okay. Same kind of thing here.

The mods made an exception for wishing users (keyword being \(users\)) a happy birthday in the feedback section. However, that's not even what you're originally announcing in the post. This isn't even a question anyway. Why do we need to know that you're going to be gone for 4 days?
