OpenStudy (lilkg77):

Suppose that G(x) = F(x - 8). Which statement best compares the graph of G(x) with the graph of F(x)? A. The graph of G(x) is the graph of F(x) shifted 8 units to the right. B. The graph of G(x) is the graph of F(x) shifted 8 units down. C. The graph of G(x) is the graph of F(x) shifted 8 units up. D. The graph of G(x) is the graph of F(x) shifted 8 units to the left.

OpenStudy (mecharv):

Please check if it is F(x-8) or F(X)-8, I think it should be F(X)-8

OpenStudy (mecharv):

If it is F(x-8), then the graph G(X) moves 8 units to the right.
