The denominator does not have rational roots so you'll need to estimate it. You can use half interval method to find a close root and approximate a better one.

Well vertical asymptote occurs whenever f(x) -> infinity or -infinity (i.e. denominator is 0)
However, note that the root of the denominator is the vertical asymptote only if when you substitute this into the numerator, the numerator is not 0 as well. Otherwise you get 0/0 case which corresponds to a removable discontinuity.

Intercepts: well let x = 0 for y intercept and y = 0 for x intercept. The roots of the numerator are your x intercepts.
