jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

...?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

The theme park company is building a scale model of the Killer whale stadium main show tank for an investor’s presentation. How many times smaller will the Volume of the model be if each dimension were made 6 times smaller?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Sorry for bothering you ;-;

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

a change in the first dimension would change third dimension (volume) accordingly so 6 times smaller in the first dimension would change the third dimension (volume) by 6^3

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

so... divide?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

??? 6^3

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

volume would be 6 to the 3rd power smaller

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Ah so thats the answer? :o

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

well, you'll have to figure out what 6^3 is equal to...

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

How do I do that? I know I'm not that bright ;-;

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

6^3 = 6 * 6 * 6
