OpenStudy (paystub-2):

2 Cards are shown from a deck of 52 cards, with replacement. What is the probability they were both King of Hearts?

OpenStudy (paystub-2):

@mjdennis

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

Think of it this way. There is only one KH in the deck. So p(KH1) = 1/52 Replacement means you put it back in. So the second part is just like first all over again p(KH2) = __ / __ The probability of BOTH is p(KH1) multiplied by p(KH2). Got to go.

OpenStudy (shaik0124):

is it 1/52 multiplied by 1/52

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Let's let Paystub answer that.
