Your "rectangular pyramid" has a square base, with each side measuring 4 inches, and the altitude of the pyramid is given. Have you tried looking up "volume of a pyramid" to find the appropriate formula to use here? Your pyramid has four sides of equal area, plus a square base. How would you go about calculating the area of one side? Of the four sides? Of the base? Add them up to get the total area of the pyramid.
