INTRO- Was Brutus a betrayer or a patriot? Brutus was a patriot because he felt he did what he need to do to save the city of Rome. He did not want to see Rome fall at the hand of Julius Caesar. Brutus was a betrayer because Julius Caesar was his friend, yet he still killed him. Brutus shows the characteristics of a betrayer and a patriot, but what was he?

A. Present counter point A – Brutus Killed JC cause he was looking for Rome’s best interest
B. Refute counter point A – Yet he worked with people whose interests was not what was best for Rome

Ok, first of all, a counter-point is something that kind of argues with your main point, so you'll need to redo A in body 1.

When you refute the counterpoint, you'll add details that shoot down the counterpoint.

Point A in body 2 looks good, but more details should be added.

And when you support your point, add support from the novel/source.
