What is it asking?
let \[f(x,y)=(x-3,y+6)\] for what values of \(x,y\) does \(f(x,y)=(-7,-4)\)
I thought it was -7-3 and -4+6
no...that would be the image of (-7,-4) not the preimage

so how do i figure the preimage
solve x-3=-7 and y+6=-4
x=-4 and y=-10
put it as an ordered pair (-4,-10)
so that is the answer
