Does Openstudy have a policy where they delete an account if a user doesn't log on for a certain period of time?

Nope.
Recently they just had a mass deletion of inactive accounts to reduce the amount of Lag and clearly is has worked! :D

They sent you an email to notice you but it seems you didn't respond to it. That is why your account got deleted. :)

it will take an extremely long time, and it is most likely not possible you will get it back, since only moderators have been restored, because of high priority

And it depends. If you had a great SmartScore then it may take a bit to restore everything.

Guys dont delay the users time... he/she has a life .-. @funnyunicorns1778 I'm sorry but you can try reactivating the account by signing up the username again but all medals, questions, answers, smart scores, etc. have been lost. You can always try to pull it up and bring it all back with hard work.

Note: They may never respond. (due to the massive number of accounts deleted, many people are emailing them and so the recovery line is really long at the moment)

The best we can tell you to do for now is to make your account with your old username and continue to raise your smartscore as you normally would have.

Again sorry for the inconvenience, dont blame it on OS but blame it on other users that would make massive amount of alts... ._. making the server space limited and causing new users to receive poor quality on OS.

I understand how this would be helpful, but it's a major turn off for users like me who have been inactive for 3-4 months and have to start over with years of work. Thanks for the help with this though! <B I forgot how helpful the OS community is.
