Which problem is the trouble?

OpenStudy (mathmusician):

All of it...

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

\[\large A(t) = C e^{k \sqrt{t}} e^{r(40-t)}\] maximize A(t) by setting derivative equal to 0 \[\large A'(t) = (\frac{k}{2 \sqrt{t}} -r)C e^{k \sqrt{t}} e^{r(40-t)} = 0\] solve for t ignoring the exponential factors since they will never equal 0 \[\rightarrow \frac{k}{2 \sqrt{t}} - r = 0\] \[t = \frac{k^2}{4r^2}\] This is general solution for optimal time to sell
