help me please
OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
1 Subtract 2y from both sides
5x=9−2y
5x=9−2y
2 Divide both sides by 5
x=9−2y/5
OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
whattt xD
OpenStudy (welshfella):
its best to enclose the 9 - 2y in parentheses to avoid confusion
y = (9 - 2y) / 5
OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
from there you can fin the y and the x

* x = (9 - 2y) / 5
OpenStudy (rayman5766):

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
well give us your options please
and thank you for pointing that out :)
OpenStudy (rayman5766):

again its best not to write it that way because the whole part, -2y + 9, is divided by 5. The way its written it can be interpreted that only the 9 is divided by 5 . That's why you should write it as (-2y + 9) / 5.
OpenStudy (rayman5766):
A
OpenStudy (rayman5766):
3*2 is 9
OpenStudy (rayman5766):
3*3 is 9 not 2
OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
dont guess show your works
example
A
(3,3)
5(3)+2(3)=21
21 is not 9
