OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

ok! What must all congruent figures have in common that similar figures do not?

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

congruent figures must have the same size and shape, where as a similar figure must just have the same shape

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

Describe at least two different relationships between angles formed by two intersecting lines?

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

Complementary Angles Two angles are complementary if and only if their sum is 90° Supplementary Angles Two angles are supplementary if and only if their sum = 180° Right Angle An angle is a right angle if and only if its measure is 90° is that what you wanted ? ^^^^

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

is this a good answer? 1. opposite angles are equal (vertical angles) ex. 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 2. two adjacent angles add to 180. Ex. 60 and 120.

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

that would work, if you had a picture to go with it

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

i dont think your teacher would get a clear understanding of that, since you said "1 and 3" and "2 and 4" but i know what you mean by it, and you are very correct....

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

then what can i say to my teacher that would make sense and she would understand? whats a good ex for vertical angles?
