I disagree, I would say B. C would be incorrect because it has nothing wrong with it? xD The next part of the sentence explains WHY her planning was worthwhile which was because the ceremony was beautiful. A would be incorrect because the semicolon breaks the two ideas in half, making the sentence correct since both ideas differ from each other. D would be incorrect because if you look closely, you will see that B is the correct answer since the beginning sentence which is "Arrayed in a dazzling gown" it does not explain WHO were arrayed in a dazzling gown, for all we know it could have been the crowd. So, that eliminates D, leaving us with our correct answer choice as B. ;w;
