The probability of winning a game is 20%. If you play 20 times, how many times should you expect to win?

OpenStudy (michaeldowell_132boomboomboomb):

Will medal and fan

OpenStudy (phi):

I would do 20 times the probability of winning once

OpenStudy (michaeldowell_132boomboomboomb):

which is

OpenStudy (michaeldowell_132boomboomboomb):

I need the anwser now WILL MEDAL

OpenStudy (mrnood):

this is not a straight forword question @phi has probably given you the way to get th eanswer required BUT the chance of a 1 in n event happening in n events is NOT 1 in n (as n get bigger it tends to about 63% if recall correctly) It would be PERFECTLY normal to win 0 times in 20 It would be perfectly normal to win say 7 times in 20 so therre is no real answer to how many you would expect to win

OpenStudy (michaeldowell_132boomboomboomb):

4 times 10 times 16 times is the awsners

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@michaeldowell_132boomboomboomb do NOT demand answers it is against the rules You have the necesary help above from @phi I suggest you do some maths to get th eanswer as he described

OpenStudy (michaeldowell_132boomboomboomb):

im reporting you for harassment

OpenStudy (mrnood):
