OpenStudy (david954954):

@Mehek14 please help me

OpenStudy (benlindquist):

@A_Burning_Masquerade

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

What do you think the answer is @david954954 ? :)

OpenStudy (david954954):

Maybe A?

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Uhm, no, not quite. Here, take a looksies at this, it may help you. http://study.com/academy/lesson/what-is-translation-in-math-definition-examples-terms.html

OpenStudy (david954954):

So its B

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Uhmmm, almost, but not quite. A translation is just like sliding the triangle. B would be a translation + a reflection. But we're only looking for a translation, nothing else added. So what else do you think it could be? :)

OpenStudy (david954954):

C

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Uhm, no, what else?

OpenStudy (david954954):

So its D but how is it that?

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

D is correct yes. If scroll down to the section that says "How to Perform Translations" in the link that I posted, it should explain why the correct answer would be D. :)

OpenStudy (david954954):

Oh ok thanks so much

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

You're welcome! ^.^
