MEDAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!!!!!! What is the theoretical probability of spinning green on the spinner below? https://aoa.sooschools.com/media/g_pal_2015/10/img_probability_spinner4.gif 1/12 1/8 1/3 1/4

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

First, you check that every wedge is the same size. Now coi8nt all the wedges. Count all the green wedges. P(green) = (number of green wedges) / (total number of wedges)

OpenStudy (oliviagggg):

all=13 green=3 13x3=39

OpenStudy (oliviagggg):

how do i make that to a fraction

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

There are 3 green ones, but the total is not 13. If it were 3 green out of a total of 15, then it would be 3/15 which reduces to 1/5.
