Why does Balthasar tell Romeo that Juliet is "well, and nothing can be ill"? He is scared to tell Romeo the truth. He knows that Juliet is not really dead. He means that her soul is resting in heaven. He does not know the news about Juliet.

OpenStudy (tonystark):

In this particular part of the story, Juliet is "dead" and Balthasar believe's he's seen her body so, using that context, you know which one is the answer. :)

OpenStudy (tonystark):

wait, maybe that doesn't help lol sorry, it would be that she is resting in heaven.
