kevin is designing a flag for the nature club as shown below. in his design, RQ equals 1 meter and PR equals 0.6 meter. What should be the value of PQ in meters? A. 0.32 B. 0.80 C. 0.40 D. 1.17

you are obviously studying Pythagoras can you identify the 'hypotenuse' of the flag triangle?
how do u do that ?
you don't 'do it' - you know it which side is the hypotenuse?
its R and Q
I guess you mean the side joining R & Q (this is normally written as RQ btw) so the pythaogoras equation states that the (hypotenuse) ^2 = sum of t e square of the other 2 sides or c^2 = a^2 + b^c (where c is the hypotenuse) so you know 2 sides (0.6 m and 1 m) can you put them into the equation above?
|dw:1464902694530:dw| use the above diagram and my equation to put the known sides into the equation
