I just have a question, please help! How is the degree of overlap high if two data sets have about the same MAD and mean? (Comparing data sets)

OpenStudy (cinnamonbun):

@Vocaloid please help :C

OpenStudy (cinnamonbun):

@volleyballlover55 Please help!

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

i'm not exactly certain what the question is asking

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

usually, if 2 data sets have similar means AND MADs, then by logic it follows that the data will naturally have a higher overlap

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

the two data sets are centered around the same value, and have the same variability, which is why they will tend to overlap

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

i'm not sure if that's the answer they're looking for?

OpenStudy (cinnamonbun):

I now understand actually, I was looking at it at a different way. Thank you!
