Do you know how to define the term backstory?
no
Okay. So have you ever seen My Name Is Earl?
no @courtney_celiene1236
Okay. Well do you know how in a movie or show or book, a character will have a flashback of sorts in order to better help the audience understand what is going on in the plot? It usually starts out with the character telling a story of something that has happened in the past to cause the situation they are currently in to happen. It's kind of like they are taking us into their memories so we can more accurately understand what is happening now and why.
This is how you could describe a backstory.
So based on that explanation and your answer choices, what do you think would be the most accurate example of a backstory?
D?
That's not quite it. Remember, a backstory is kind of like a memory.
B!
Great!
