OpenStudy (alinaa1024):

What are the amplitude, period, and midline of the function? Amplitude: 8; period: π; midline: y = 1 Amplitude: 8; period: 2π; midline: y = 5 Amplitude: 4; period: 2π; midline: y = 5 Amplitude: 2; period: π; midline: y = 1

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

Well, you have not shown the function yet...

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

Amplitude is how high you go above (or below) midline. If you don't have midline, you can find the amplitude by taking half the total height from the low to the high.

OpenStudy (alinaa1024):

i dont understand @mjdennis

OpenStudy (aveline):

What is the maximum and minimum y-value of the function?

OpenStudy (aveline):

3 and -1, right?

OpenStudy (aveline):

What number is between these two numbers?

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

|dw:1464976171791:dw| so the y-values, or the numbers for the high points and low points are the whoa, you are way ahead of me!
