A sound wave has a speed of 345 m/sec and a wavelength of 500 meters. is this wave infrasonic, sonic, or ultrasonic? Plz help me work this out medal & fan

OpenStudy (aaronq):

for any wave: \(\sf speed=frequency*wavelength\) thus \(\sf frequency=\dfrac{speed}{wavelength}\) the terms infrasonic, sonic and ultrasonic refer to different ranges of frequencies. Sonic being audible by the human ear, infra- to those below (<20 Hz) and ultra- to those above (>20 000 Hz).
