okay, who knows how to add a header and footer into an excel document? i have an exam coming up on monday and can't for the life of me remember how.

Also, your link showed me how to add a header and footer to a chart, not to a spreadsheet.

Use the header footer option in the customize menu. Depends on what excel you're working on- MS or anything else.
