Solve the following system of equations using matrices. 4x + 5y = -7 3x - 6y = 24 (1, 4) (2, -3) (5, 6) (3, 4)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Can you write the system matrix? \[[A][X]=[B]\] [X] is the column matrix \[\left[ \begin{matrix}x _{1} \\ x _{2}\end{matrix} \right]\]

OpenStudy (katiepowell):

thank you:)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

@ajtran: Please note that this problem calls for a solution done using matrices. It does not help if you simply give away the answer or what you think is the answer, instead of leading the other person through the process of solving this system of equations in the proper manner (via matrices).

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Katie: You must come up with what we call an "augmented matrix." It will look like |dw:1465186645695:dw|
