The triangles are right triangles, so HL would be able to be used if you have the correct info.
To use HL, you need two hypotenuses that are congruent, and two legs that are congruent.
Are any of the 4 sides with red marks a hypotenuse?

The hypotenuse is the side opposite the right angle.
