I think this one would be A, C, and D because Abbots were the ones who were in charge of their monasteries, and gave the orders. The priest answered to only 2 people, and that was the pope and along with his bishop. Priest also gave advise to the people when they were in need. D is just obvious, Monks were men who had separated themselves from society in order to lead holy lives. So they would live apart from towns and villages.
