OpenStudy (tylerocks):

John is a carpenter who survived the plague known as the Black Death. Why would John be able to charge more for his services now than he did before the plague arrived? Select the best answer from the choices provided. John went on the Crusades to the Holy Land, so he is now a popular craftsman. A large number of people are traveling to Asia and want new ships constructed. He is now one of few carpenters left, so people offering carpentry services are harder to find. John is a member of the Reformation and a follower of Martin Luther.
