I have seen new and or old users wait hours for an answer sometimes its just ONE question maybe to make people stop leaving and more coming there should be like a limited amount of questions like for example 10 and then close them your done move on the another question,so there could be less spam and more helping so people can depend on other people so they don't need to depend on not getting there answers unanswered hope you see my point of view :D
also summer, more people are inactive
Yes that's another thing I have noticed that a lot of people have been leaving for summer and still have there questions open like KamiBug and SkyVoltage
mods can close those to reduce spam @Hauntedwoodsgal
please do not spam my question :)
There's not really a problem with people leaving their questions open, we simply do not have enough people helping around I suppose. But having questions open, I don't think, is the reason that people are not getting fast enough help (if that's what you mean?)
That's exactly what I mean
And Maybe all of the open questions is causing the loading problems possibly? if that makes sense....
no, if the open questions are closed, they just go to the closed section - it takes up the same amount of space on the servers I think
Oh well that makes more sense I guess :)
One of the concepts that OpenStudy lives upon is that people can achieve a higher understanding of a concept having to teach it to someone else. and so we hope that people who come here to ask question also end up answering other people's questions as they wait for people to help them.
Yes :) im glad you understand me
We sometimes host competitions to encourage more people to become helpers, but we still lack them ^_^"
:) Nice thank you again for undertanding :)
I should close this now
