hint: when the distance covered behaves like a constant function

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

A?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

portion A describe an increasing function

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

describes*

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

hint: constant function, means distance doesn't change

hartnn (hartnn):

If Kendra runs, distance will increase, the line in graph will go upwards. If Kendra stops for some time, the distance won't increase for that time. So, the line will be horizontal for that amount of time ("constant") In which interval do you see a small horizontal line? :)

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

um, c?

hartnn (hartnn):

correct!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

correct! since once Kendra stops to run, time ticks whereas distance doesn't change
